The darkness inside me is a lot scarier than the darkness out there....

Thanks a bunch, Mr Gurden.
One question, though.
>Co-ordination 3 [6], Dexterity +1, Reaction +1
Why not just coord 4?
The darkness inside me is a lot scarier than the darkness out there....
Beacause I wanted to differentiate between edges and stats.
As a Ref there are rolls that edges simply do not apply to. Say a character was trying to freehand copy a map with paper and pen. After the years I spent as a kid doing those excersices to redevelop my coordination and balance after a head-injury, I know that doing the drawing would be a coordination test...
But how will Dexterity and Reaction figure into the accuracy of the map?
So for Coordination tests that are not covered by edges... (I leave it up to the player to justify why their edge applies, just like advantages... If its not good enough, or unsupported, or blatently obviousie; if theres any confusion, then its the base stat only)

Look for the Osirians on the following thread:

By the way, the Anticans are Caninoid.
They are? Well then my mistake.![]()

Another felinoid type species is the Kzinti, but that's for more of a lion or tiger type character...8 foot tall, fur covered, all addatude, oh yeah don't forget big teeth and claws...he he
While the Kzin might not be Federation Members, one could get in on the same ticket as Worf, Nog, Ro Laren, and (certainly) several others not shown in the series.

Are the Kzinti canon? They appeared in the TOS Cartoon series in an episode written by Larry Niven (who created them) but as I understand it, the cartoon series are not canon except for the episode about Spock's youth...
Actually, the Anticans were a canine race. They'd make a good foil for a Caitian character thoughOriginally posted by Lt.Khrys Antos

Talking of felinoid races, one of the eighties Original Series novels had a beautifully written feline race. I don;t rememerb what they were called, but I used them as the basis for the Caitians in our game. Their culture and psychology was very well written.
Anyway, as I recall the book was calleed 'Enterprise, The First Adventure.' Was written by Vonda N. McIntyre I think.
