Damage of the Type XV Phaser

In the Dominion War Sourcebook (pg 84) the damage of the Type XV emplaced phaser is listed as 30 points (Icon system).

But in the statistics of the Mars Defence Perimeter Platform (on page 34) the damage of its Type XV phaser is listed as 25.

So which is the correct damage for the type XV. Until now I've always thought that you could figure out the damage of the phaser by multiplying its type by 2.

I think that 30 is correct. The damage progression in the basic LUG rules has always followed the 2X rule. I don't see any reason that would have changed for orbital defenses. Any further comment, Steve?

30 -- the entry in the Emplaced Phaser Table -- is correct.

I may have missed it, but has there been a errata sheet for the Dominion War Sourcebook and Spacedock? Just curious?

There was an errata thread for Spacedock/SRM1 after they were released -- you could find it if you dig back through the archives far enough. I've kept a list of the suggested errata so that I can make the proper revisions when it's time to release SD "v. 2.0," but there's no official "errata list" posted anywhere.
