You have a soft spot in your head? Oh, whoops. My bad.

To paraphrase Sev-Trek: "Why do Klingon's have ridged head now, when they didn't before? Because their brains shrunk."

And, of cource, if you're talking TOS Romulans, ya know, the ones with Honor, then that might be cool. But, a TNG Romulan is slightly less trustworthy than a Ferengi with Power of Attorney over your estate.

So, count me in as another Andorian. At least until a couple of Enterprises from now.

The board wouldn't let me vote, claiming that I voted before which is physically impossible.

    Klingon! Klingon! Klingon!

TOS Romulans were good (but not that good). TNG Romulans? What happened to them.

    Deltan!

Why? 'cause no one's mentioned them yet.
"War is an ugly thing but not the ugliest of things; the decayed and degraded state of moral and patriotic feelings which thinks that nothing is worth war is much worse. A man who has nothing for which he is willing to fight, nothing which is more important than his own personal safety, is a miserable creature and has no chance of being free unless made and kept so by the exertions of better men than himself."

Romulans, of course. Obviously the greatest Empire in the Galaxy! So great that the Borg have yet to get pushy with 'em even though according to my maps they're closer

So great that the Dominion didn't want to fight and it took a lying, deceitful human to get them into the war. Funny how those are s'posed to be Romulan traits...

Though I must say that the TOS-Romulans are definitely closer to the way my Game-Romulans are... honour. Not without treachery, but honour to an honourable foe and other Romulans... usually... sometimes... well...

    Honour to the Empire!

    Cool

That's because Romulus is not worthy of the Borg. It's Earth that they want. But if you want the Borg to be knockin' on your door, I have no objection.

Knocking on the Door? Hell, they kicked it in.

I really hate to punch a hole in the reasoning of a fellow Rom fan, but the Borg assimalated three Romulan colony worlds before the cube could be destroyed. And the Romulans had nothing to do with the destruction.

Note: This assumes LUG info is considered canon, which I do.

    *Smacks self about head shamelessly*

Muh bad, thank you for correcting me and in a strange way allowing my point more support than my argument gave...

Romulans are def. good enough to be assimilated then

Wait... I dunno if that's good...

    Wink On second thought...

I already voted Betazoid, so I could spy on the mind of my friends and co-workers, but I think Founder would be a good race too.

Medusan. Any race that things of interstellar navigation a fine art has a lot going for it. Plus, they're bodiless, which makes assimilation difficult. There is that drawback, but remember, they can look at each other without going insane.

    Cardassian. Why you may ask?

Well, their one of the most demonized races out there, I mean they ain't exactly the nicest of people. Once a deeply spiritual people, then they turned to more military pursuits and lost their whole empire. I mean its so poetically tragic that what they used to do to others is done unto them now.
