    These are all the notes I took from the interview with Matthew Coleville today on Radio Free Decipher (http://www.decipher.com/rfd/index.html).

    for teenagers who have just seen the movie

    layout questions - hour or two about map look

    Star Trek Narrator's Guide - book for those running game
    changing how certain things work
    developing chapters for sense and making sure everything works

    working on starship combat and what changes
    buried in manuals
    likes Akira
    Klingon ships - quirk and dirty, fast, fall apart fast, but work well when they work
    Klingons - not same regard for life

    "all starships" book
    then deck plans


    LotR RPG in development
    not much Coleville work
    Steve Long is master of LotR and "developer dude" and "the man"
    first quarter of 2002

    mirror universe supplement
    may do minature wargame

    other properties
    depends for Star Trek, "not usually"
    can get in trouble... keep eye open to other properties
    card game images fantastic

    Interesting. I just used notepad to copy a few notes mostly in sentence fragment form and then copied that into the post entry field. With a few quick bolds to indicate the truly fascinating and exciting information.

    A mirror universe book? I can't wait!

    It's nice to hear that Decipher has a number of supplemental products in the works. Given the company's superior track record when it comes to graphic design, I think these books are going to look great.

    A starship deckplan book? Sweet.

    A Mirror Universe book? Okay!

    An "all starships" book? I can dig it.

    And more to come, no doubt. ("Please, please, please let there be more to come," whispers the freelance writer in me.)
