Its 2381 while the two settled quadrants are settling down after a decade long period of instability things seem to be getting back to a sense of normal. When one bright sunny day a low ranking Romulan official vists a high Ranking Starfleet official with the simple message "Levaithan has returned".
In the days after the first Borg invasion a joint project between the Romulans, Klingons and Federation had developed a super ship designed to house the collective knowledge of the three powers as while as DNA and other important aspects to ensure that the races would continue in the face of complete defeat at the hands of the Borg (there was no problem with the cloning idea here as a worthy sample including defects, low intelligence and etc was included to make sure the decedants didn't become the new "supermen" but just average.)
Such was born Levaithan (Size 12-14) which used tech from all the races in a fully automated ship. It was nearly compete when Hughs borgs were discovered and some low Borg tech was even included. The ship once launched set out on a ten year mission the first part of which was toward the Delta Quadrant, it's signiture so low that the Borg would not detect it as a threat. After four years it would turn around and head back to the area from which it came.
Once back it would search out and locate a habitable world for its collection and destroy anything which got in its way assuming it to be Borg. It would then plant itself on the surface and begin producing its clones below ground and away from Borg interfearence.
Three ships where built one per power though all where the same save for the DNA material. In 2371 the Romulans jumped the gun and launched theres, which they never told anyone until 2380 when an outpost was wiped out by the ship. in 2381 a fleet sent with a recall message was instead destroyed, the recall not accepted and the Romualns considered a Borg threat. Now the ship is about to enter Federation space and is heading on a direct course for a heavily populated colony world.
The Players mission
either disable and reroute the ship or destroy it. Also thinking about an idea that it has been tinkered with.
Any further ideas or suggestions?

but I've used it once before. Since its an allied weapon system gone bonkers, I'd assume that it would be an allied task to bring it down. I would suggest a combined force of Starfleet, IKDF and RSN ships are sent to stop the thing.
