    >Did it disturb anyone else that the Matrix's Agents have apparently taken over Rivendell?

Oh, please! And I haven't even seen it yet...

    I just saw it.

Well my Trek game may be on further hiatus...got a hankering to do some Fantasy gaming.

    What an amazing movie!

    Wow!

Anyone know when the LOTR RPG is supposed to come out?

    Arrow

The hardcover core rulebook supposed to be out next Spring 2002.

There should be an adventure game boxed set (an introductory RPG) out this month, but so far no sign.
    Anyhoo, just some random thoughts...

    Cool Goin' again!

Heading off 2nite to see it at the IMAX near me... it's not IMAX format, it's just being shown on the big screen. I can't wait to hear it on that sound system, though.

Let you know my thoughts after the second viewing.

Saw it on Thursday and man I loved it. Best movie I've seen since...since...since...to be honest the closest I can think of was Empire Strikes Back but on reflection even Star Wars couldn't match up to Peter Jackson's magnus opus.

I've always had a high opinion of Mr Jackson's work, but they seemed pretty fringe (Meet the Feebles was my first encounter and I thought it was a total gas) so I wondered if he could do LOTR justice and he did. Now I wish they'd advance the schedule and bring out Part II this summer and wipe Attack of the Clones off the map. IMHO George Lucas must be chewing on his liver now hoping that they don't do it.

Now all I have to do is convince my players that Trek should get shelved for a couple of weeks/months so that we can play fantasy instead...bring on DecLOTR...I can't wait till spring.
    Arise, arise, Riders of Theoden!
Fell deed awake: fire and slaughter!
Spear shall be shaken, shields be splintered,
    a sword-day, a red-day, ere the sun rises!
Ride now, ride now! Ride to Gondor!
