How many Oscars will LOTR win?

Looking back at LOTR, I wonder how many Academy Awards it will win at the Oscars next year.

    I predict at least two:

    1. Best special effects
    2. Best Adapted Screenplay

It could take the one for best score and Enya must just pick up the Oscar for best song.

    What do you guys think?
    Arise, arise, Riders of Theoden!
Fell deed awake: fire and slaughter!
Spear shall be shaken, shields be splintered,
    a sword-day, a red-day, ere the sun rises!
Ride now, ride now! Ride to Gondor!

There's gotta be a best supporting actor Ian McKellen - I'm convinced that he was Gandalf. Nod for the music Enya provided to the soundtrack as well.

Before gladiator won I would have said it had no hope in hell of anyhting other than effects...but now...I could see it getting a nom for best, not sure about wining though.

The question who does deserve the best special effects Oscar. Monsters' Inc is animation and Harry Potter doesn't stand a chance. Everything else this year was pretty boring special effects wise.

THe big question: Was it good enough for the top awards? I don't think so but more unlikely movies have won Best Picture but I know its a fantasy.
