Food for thought, but it would work for alater adventure, where he mind powers cause soem problems...still I am hesitant to have too many Psi's on the ship...unless....hmmmmm....I have an idea...but I must work it first....

Here we go again...Babylon 5 alert. What next Chekov turns out to be the director of Section 31.

Okay I'm going back to the corner now.
    Arise, arise, Riders of Theoden!
Fell deed awake: fire and slaughter!
Spear shall be shaken, shields be splintered,
    a sword-day, a red-day, ere the sun rises!
Ride now, ride now! Ride to Gondor!

    S'okay.

So as it stands, the Exeter encounters a nebula or cloud in space. After a week of travel and exploration Urram begins to notice odd behaviour in the crew... The doctor reports a large number of crew complaining about bad sleep.

A week later she notices the ectoplasmic growth on the back of her husbands neck. She also feels the conciousness in it. She searches her own body and finds one as well. Using her mind powers she forces hers off and his, but the Doctor insists that he can't see what she is talking about.

Slowly over the next few weeks the growths blossum and become living beings, that are sucking the lifeforce out of the crew. She and her husband try and help the crew, but they won't be helped.

Eventually they are all dead, except for she and her husband, Zymmer has an idea that if he can create a resonating pulse in the ship using the warp coils, he can kills the beasts. Urram can't do it since it would fry her brain.

He kisses her, she feels his love for her and his daughter as he makes her promise to get home and take care of Valera. Then he departs.

Being outside her protection the lifeforms converge on him and he dies just feet away from where he needed to be.

    She waits, he doesn't return.

Aliens find the ship, ascertain what is going on, but because they do not believe in taking any life, they open a starget and shunt the Exeter through, where it is eventually found and the Lexington is ordered to investigate.

    What do we think?

Won't be for about 6 months, but I will keep this all in mind for then

Man Season 2 is gonna rock and roll!

Do you think I should add some Ferengi salvagers just to keep them on their toes?

    You're kidding right?

So what, Bones was a lot older and he lived to a ripe old age. And he is after all Section 31 chief, who knows what technology they have access to. Son'a regenerative tech perhaps may not work on their irradiated selves but on humans? who knows. After it is Section 31...

Hmmmmm...neat idea...oh my yes, I love this idea!

He scours the quadrants looking for techniques that can prolong his life just a little bit longer.

In fact he was behind the whole Baku/S'Ona thing.

This is a good thread...two storylines for the price of one.

Interesting aside there about the Son'a/Bak'u business...well it did look like a Section 31 job didn't it.

Ferengi? Yawn...I'm thinking Orions led by Captain Deth O'Kay, should keep Stocker on his toes at any rate. Nothing focuses the mind as well as your best enemy.

    Same here

Hey, Ferengi salvagers are a great idea, you know, Zimmer. Since they are resistant to telepathy, they could resist to some extent to the aliens.. and help Uram in some ways !

    Now I am torn

Deth O'Kay works as an old villain

Ferengi work because of the resistentence to telepathy.

    HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
