    Favourite "Enterprise" Character

My big ol' vote is for Trip at this point; though Hoshi comes in a quick second: they're the only two who've shown any real humanity/character, but Trip sneaks by as he's also got that awesome sense of humour (and, okay, he's hot.)

    Hoshi! :)

Jolene Blalock's hot, but Linda Pak's character looks to be the one the writers have developed better (so far).

Trip. Great character & the actor does a nice job. I like Archer next. I don't like T'Pol, but I thnk Blalock is doing a great job as a Vulcan.

I really liked the whole "taking a bite of the pie" scene at the end of whatever episode that was. I certainly see some sort of dynamic tension between T'Pol and Trip. I'd be okay with her Pon-Farring in his direction.

Okay, Hoshi is a babe and a half, and she has a very interesting "I don't want to be here!" type of character that I find rather appealing.

But Trip is cool. Way cool. And he's funny. And he likes pecan pie for the same reason I do -- it may be bad for your body, but it's great for your soul!

All the other characters have been, IMO, pretty dull. The Harry Kim type of dull.

What's also interesting is my two favorite characters are the two favorites of other people on this board as well.

Now if we could do something with both Trip and Hoshi to bring them together. A romance between them can't be out of the question, can it? I mean, he's a sweet Southern gentlemen, and she's a sweet, shy type of lady, and they both have high scores in the intelligence department, so I figure there's a potential for fireworks somewhere in there ...

I'd actually like to see her be the "indermediary" who clues in that T'Pol and Trip have the semblance of something for each other. I think she'd do the comic "You two like each other," role very well.

Then again, I'm spouting off about something I've noticed a lot of Trek fans don't like: romance between the main characters.

T'Pol. I just find the character likable. And I am talking about T'Pol and character here and not about Blalock and her body.

It's a hard desicion. I think my vote is for Tucker, but Hoshi has had some nice moments too.

    Ponders...

    Archer

I like Archer because he's got his act together more than some of the others. And yes, TNG was my favorite series. It doesn't hurt that Bakula's a likeable guy or that he was in Quantum Leap and, as a kid, an opera called Amahl and the Night Visitors.

I'd say Hoshi's my second favorite. Shyness is good.

Trip is my least favorite. I guess I don't like his brand of humor.

Hoshi. She's cute, and an uncertain character is original for once. Plus, she has to deal with something that never bothered anyone before : defective translators

Aw, come on C5! You haven't seen any Enterprise episode yet, you shouldn't be participating in this poll!
Wait ... don't tell me you managed to get your hands on some, here, in France, the most backward Trek country I know ... damn, I hate you!

Hey Calcoran, they sure ain't showing Enterprise on t.v. over here in Germany and I've seen all episodes up to and including "Cold Front" (ep. 11, if you count the pilot as 2 episodes).

All you need is a really fast modem (DSL if can get it) and a little time. Or in my case a friend with a DSL modem.

Well Calcoran... I did as Lancer : a friend with a good connection and some time to spare (that way we got a deal : I lend him all my TNG, DS9 and VOY tapes and he shares all the ENT episodes he downloads)...
Quite illegal indeed but hey, that or waiting 4 or 5 years...

But I agree, France is a very backward Trek country...

That's just unfair! I've been looking for them sites for months! Now I've got this nice cable connection and I can't even use it! Anyone cares to share where they get their episodes? So that I too can vote on this poll for instance .
