    Achilles Class Super Cruiser?

    Did anyone make stats for this ship?

    I was thinking about using her as a future ship froma bout 20 years hence, where the Federation has beenn at war with the Romulan Empire for about 20 years.

    Thus far the Klingons have fallen, the Breen have joined with the Federation.

    The Cardassian's remain neutral.

    I figure this ship could be modified to be a carrier

    She would be escorted probably by two Defiant-like ships.

    I would also increase her size to something on the 800m range.

    Phalanx Torpedo System

    Phoenix and my good self came up with SD stats and rules for the Phalanx.


    Thses stats are in the first link.

    It should not be too hard for U to convert it into ICON.

    Well I think I am gonna up the size considerably and maybe even roll out the Transpahsic Torpedoes

    I figure at the end of the day she will be about 800 or 900m long

    Big ship, with fighters et al

    Anyone got an idea of a good escort, from 20 years in the future?

    This is Odd

    I recently created an RPG group and we are using an Achilles Class vessel. If anyone does know where I can find the specs for this please point me into the right direction.

    Gah, Sometimes you guys scair the living hell out of me with your games...8-900m long super cruiser...Heavy Graviton Beam, 85 damage...gah..."does anyone remember when we used to be explorers?"

    But, all in all if you and your players are having fun, who the heck am I to step in...just remember the bigger your players get, the harder it will be for you to stop them.

    Just a thought on the Phalanx "photon torp" launcher...I thought Phalanx is a defensive system more akin to a cluster of small phasers firing so rapidly that they can kill incoming torpedoes...at least that's my vision of the Phalanx.

    I admit its adapted from the Phaser-G from SFB.

    SFB is a goldmine of weapons and militech, the Expanding Field Generator, the Statis Field, the Mauler, all wonderful systems that I'm trying to covert to LUGTrek...

    Starfire is also a goldmine of funky weapons including such toys as sprint missles, x-ray lasers (powered by atomic explosions), primary beams which ignores shields and armour, and the HetLaser - a double laser firing in wavelength desyncronization...very effective against shields. I may just start a thread on new weapon systems so that people can boost their basic ships far beyond their dreams.

    Ghosty, I LUV the way you think... I've been pondering some of the cool tech I've found on various Trek websites (the Starfleet Military Reserves, for example) and thinking up SPACEDOCK stats for them.
    One idea I've been thinking about is adapting the weapon creation system from Big Eyes, Small Mouth™ as a means of customizing phasers, torpedoes etc. Basically, the idea is that giving a weapon an advantage will decrease the damage inflicted while giving the weapon a disadvantage will give you an increase in damage. This can also be used to represent exotic alien weaponry (the Tholian Web, for example).
    P.S. Ghosty, if you're adapting SFB tech, don't forget the Omega sector supplements for the game. They are supposed to have some really cool alien tech in them.
    The best way to predict the future is to create it.
