Anyone doing stats for ST: Armada II ships?

Well? I just got the game and (while the graphics are a tad worse-looking than Armada I) it rocks!

There are some nifty ships therein too. The Feds have the Aegean-Class frigate with the shield enhancer special ability. The design looks great (and familiar, but I can't quite place it...). I know Steve put the idea for the Aegean being an upgrade of the Mediterranean-Class in SRM1, but we don't necessarily have to go with that (just be able to deal with the fleet of Borg Tactical Cubes Steve'll send to sort us out... ).

The Borg have a few good ships too.

Anyone up for it? I'd do the stats myself, but to avoid distraction while I knuckle down to the final stages of my Ph.D, I've decided to leave the majority of my RPG stuff (including Spacedock) at my mum's house 150 miles away (I think that should be far enough. I think...)

I'm game. I just finiished working on an upgraded version of the Type-10 shuttle that incorporates some of the Delta Flyer's tech and I'm feeling frisky. Any pictures, diagrams or stats of the new ships available? That would help a lot, Captain Hunter.

    Sorry it took so long:

For the Aegean-Class and Iwo Jima-Class starships (and all other Fed ships, but we've got stats for most of 'em already):

    http://strategyplanet.com/starmada/r...tion.htm#andor

The Iwo Jima is listed as a troop transport carrying Starfleet Marines, so without wanting to start that powderkeg off again, it's up to you if you want to use it.

For the Cardies, use this link:

    http://strategyplanet.com/starmada/r...cardassian.htm

The Janissary is again a troop ship, the Vasad a light cruiser designed for fleet support, the Gul Vystan an espionage vessel (it has a cloak in the game), the Legate a cruiser with plasma torps, the Brinok a long-range patrol cruiser (again, it has a cloak in the game), the Sartan a light vessel (either an escort or a light cruiser, maybe a fast attack ship) and the Kulinor a special weapons ship.

    Borg ships are listed on:

    http://strategyplanet.com/starmada/raceinfo/borg.htm

Many we've seen, but don't have stats for. The Pyramid is an interesting vessel, though. It fires a massive planetary assault weapon to clear planetbound defences, then uses powerful transporters to beam in swarms of drones.

The Romulan page isn't up to speed yet, and Species 8472 need a new set of rules from the Almighty Steve Long before they could really be touched (besides, do you want to calculate stats for a ship that can vaporize a Borg Cube in one shot? Although they're nowhere near that powerful in the game - they do still have the planetbuster though!)

    Okay great looking page!

How do you do those great folders? Table with graphic?

Are there supposed to be Spacedock stats there? I can't seem to find them, but then I could be just stupid

Your faith is touching, Capt.Zymmer, but misplaced. It's not my page! I wouldn't know HTML coding from a replicator program on the Enterprise. The site is one of the fan-built ones for Armada hosting news, info and tips on the games. Hence, it has nothing to do with Spacedock whatsoever. I'd love to be able to take credit for it, but I only found it using a search engine (actually looking for cheat codes - not that I really need them, the majority of the single player missions in Armada II are fairly easy, though you can get surprises - I for one wasn't expecting that after I'd sent a small force of Akiras to rescue the damaged Enterprise I'd get jumped by three Borg Cubes, but hey...).

By the way, having just re-read my earlier pointer to the site, I realize how it could have been misinterpreted as me describing my own work (just to spare Captain Zymmer's blushes). I was attempting to give some detail on the ships, as there isn't always info on the site to describe how big or capable the vessels are meant to be. For example, the Sartan-Class Cardie ship is supposed to be equivalent to a Fed Sabre-Class, but there's no way you could know that looking at the site, as there's just a picture with no scale indicator.

    Sorry!

Now back on topic, anyone got stats for these bad boys yet?
