You know what's kind of scary? Sometimes when musicians have cameos in movies, they end up on the soundtrack...

On this note, notice how Swing, Pop and Rap singers can usually turn into decent actors, and yet Rock Singers/band Members just seem to pull dire performances...
Well, rock singers do not have the discipline unless they have taken formal acting lessons.

And the only great Rap singer-turned-actor I know is Will Smith, aka Fresh Prince. Tone Loc did some decent acting performances, as does the most recent former "gansta" Rappers Ice-T (now on Law & Order: Special Victims Unit) and Ice Cube. After them, no other Rapper have been decent actors unless they play close to their niche, a street gang member.

I hate to remind you guys, but on a Pop note: most of today's pop stars have had acting experience. Case in point, two members of N'SYNC (A.J. and Justin) as well as Britney Spears and Christina Aquilera all were part of the Mickey Mouse Club on Disney's cable channel back in the 90's.
    Anyhoo, just some random thoughts...

I'd completely forgotten about that until you mentioned it!

I guess this says it all:

NSync scene dropped from Star Wars film

NSync say they have been dropped from the new Star Wars movie.

Joey Fatone rang a Florida radio station to say the scene has been scrapped.

He told the Carson Radio Show on 93.3 FLZ it was because people were making a big deal about it.

Fatone said the band had visited the set of Attack Of The Clones and were going to do a small scene.

He said: "I'm going to make it officially known they dropped it because people made a big deal about it.

"We're not going to be in it and I'm not going to comment on it any more."

Star Wars fans voiced their dismay at the group's appearance, on websites like www.TheForce.net.

I don't know... I feel kind of bad about them. I mean they're just fans too. They wanted to be part of the fictional universe they liked so much.

Which of course is something none of us REAL fans ever dreamed of.... now where's that sarcasm smilie?
Anyway... maybe they'll get their wish in one of the neverending special editions that'll be released on DVD.

    I dunno...

I was kinda hoping that some of the other rumors were true...

It would be a shame if we've all been denied the chance to see the members of N'Sync SLAUGHTERED on the big screen...

I mean, watching those @$#*&'s die might just be worth the $9 alone!
