    "The Last Man on Earth"

Playing on SPACE right now in Canada, seems to have the whole shebang (no pun intended) of female Trek actresses!

Seska, Sam Wildman, and Shelby are three I've spotted so far, and one more I can't quite place the character name for. That, and the main (and only) man is yummy. Er, um, anyway, it made me blink when I saw 4 trek actresses in one movie.

Now you've got me curious. Which character (in the movie) is the 4th Trek babe?

My guess is (and I haven't seen the movie) that the guy is Cliff De Young (John Doe) who played Croden (one of the Miradorn twins from "Vortex" of DS9 season 1)

"John Doe" hadn't been in the movie at the point I posted. The yummy guy was "Adam," the genetically cloned/created male character. But the John Doe was definitely from trek as well.

I can't remember who the 4th lady was: I couldn't find her name in the credits either, it was familiarity by face only.

But wow - 5 trek people, one movie!

The Adam character didn't have any Star Trek credits to his name in the Internet Movie Database

I knew that - it was the John Doe guy who did: he was the alien that took Odo for a ride with that little changeling-ish key to rescue his daughter.

Was the movie good? Well, it was interesting more than good: showed a world inhabited, controlled, and run by women, where 97% of men died from the "Y-Bomb" (a genetically engineered disease). It actually made an interesting counterpoint to the world I'm creating for the upcoming Adventure Sourcebook, where 99.9% of the women have died...

They evolved into lesbians, cloned women for daughters, and had all the men herded into a football field to keep the hostile violent freaks away from their daughters and wives.

It was illegal to have sex with men (though there was an underground male whorehouse in the movie, run by Martha Hackett!).

Ugh. Almost sounds like pro-feminist social commentary

Actually, quite the opposite: I walked away from the movie thinking they'd done quite a good job of showing how there was really no difference from when the "big evil men" ran the world: it was just as cruel, harsh, and violent - just less obvious about it.
