Just heard something rather alarming on the news. Apparently that 15 year old pilot in Florida had written a note expressing support for Bin Laden?!?!

What the %^&* how does this kid even begin to understand what Bin Laden is doing????

Now I really have to ask...What the hell is the world coming to?

Lucky, I don't live in Florida ... lucky for the parents of the troubled yet dead 15-year-old, that is.

I'd like to say I blame the kid's parents, but then again even the best of parents can't monitor their children's action or thoughts 24/7.

From what I read at MSN, apparently the kid was a loner. No one knew him at school and he had never been involved in activities.<p>Crashing a plane into a building and killing himself...I can't explain that at all, but I think that this guy was full of hidden anger and self-loathing.<p>What scares me is the threat of copycats who seek to emulate the terrorists of Sept. 11. I shudder to think how many others will try the same thing.

Looks like the war is not over and yesterday's incident is a wake-up call that you can't just target Bin Laden, you also have to make sure that their message isn't corrupting the youth and turning out the next generation of terrorist nutjobs.

1. He _didn't_ understand Bin Laden, that's why he supported Bin Ladden. Same with 99.9% of his other supporters I imagine.

I'm afraid that under his last current mental state just prior to that crash he himself executed, he probably did understand Bin Laden or the purpose of the terrorist network, like the Hamas (I am still disgusted by videos of a children's festival featuring kids dressed up as suicide bombers and praising them).

I don't know... given some of the online conversations / post-battles I've had with certain in-duh-viduals regarding their 'justification' of terrorism, their pseudoguilt and their consistent belief that their own country is somehow less morally upright than a country in which they shoot women in the head for perceived infidelity, I would not be suprised at all that there are some 14-20 year-old people who actually support BinLaden... if only because they hate their country as much as he does.

Styro: Sears Tower? Naah. Skyscrapers've been done. I'm worried about DisneyWorld.

I have a friend who works at Disney World (last I heard she wears a Chip costume)

She told me once that there were tunnels under Disney World, and a plan in place to evacuate all visitors to these tunnels within 15 minutes.

Makes you wonder what goes on in those "bunkers" when not used in emergencies.

15 min in theory, in practice-never been done- to get all those people out of what they are doing and into those tunnels..
If you have ever seen these tunnels you would have the same snicker as we did..yeah right..

but targeting scrapers is one thing going after things such as disneyworld/land or events such as the superbowl or opening ceremony of the olympics would be the new way to go..

but I have better things to do than to worry if somebody has hijacked a supertanker and has turned it into a floating bomb..
besides constantly worrying about such things means they win....

Ever think of flying a plane into a building when you were 15.

I mean what is going on, when I was in school all you had to worry about was being roughed up by the local bully, then it was knives...Now its being sprayed by some nut with an UZi. Where did things go so out of control?
