Information on Star Trek real stars and Voyager's journey

I know that many RPGs are using my data, calculations and maps on Star Trek cartography, so I want to inform you on an update of my work:

There is a fully reworked version of the "Positions of the real stars" with data of unsurpassed precision and completeness on 39 Trek real stars and 4 DSOs, 6 new real star maps and an updated 3D view. Also, my calculations on Voyager's route have been improved and extended by facts from season 7.

The tables are avaiable in the Star Trek Cartography, the largest project on this topic in the internet, at www.stdimension.com

The Pleiades may not be fully under fed control but they do have a colony in atleast one of the systems. See TNG: Home Soil (I believe)

The Taurus Dark Cloud is a nebula type thingy that can be seen on 'real' maps of the milkyway galaxy. Christen has a link to a couple (german of course, I don't have the address for the english ones on hand: email if want) in the cartography section of StDimension.
So basicaly A real nebula that was added as a feature to make the map look nicer.

Why are the Pleiades under Federation control?

On the map, it's outside Federation space; but it has incidentally almost the same color (you're right that this may lead to misunderstandings). However, it could very well be that the Pleiades are (uncharted) Federation space. At least, it's definitely non-aligned, since the Federation had a terraforming project running on one of the stars (the fictitious Velara, see [TNG] Home Soil and my new real stars table)

And what is the Taurus Dark Cloud?

This is a real deep sky object I only added to make the map more "authentic".
