    A question (of some importance)

In my current game the crew are at present awaiting their new ship after the good ship Sovereign was kind of blew up by it's disgruntled Tactical Officer (a NPC) who took offense when the Helm Officer (a PC) became the new First Officer.

I decided to use a Intrepid Class (I liked the design, it was one of the few things I actually liked about Voyager) and I'm trying to think of a name for it.

My one and only idea that has stuck for any length of time is the USS Farscape (most of the group are fans of the show) but I would welcome any suggestions as to different names for the ship, other classes to go for (I want to get away from the mean mother that is the Sovereign Class) as well as dedication plaque quotes as well if possible (There's no hurry, I'm running the game Friday night).

Farscape is a brilliant name for an Intrepid. Sometime in the next wee while I wager AslanC will also pop by and register his approval for such an auspicious name

Quotes wise, I can't think of one at this preceise moment, but I'd day anything cool from the mouth of John Crichton would work

Oh, and Intrepid class is an excellent choice

Not too big, not too small, and a nice smallish crew.

I quite enjoy the Intrepid Class. And although I have not seen Farscape yet I think that sounds like a great name for a ship.

As for qoutes, the one I use in my game is
"Life is a Daring Adventure or Nothing at All"
    Helen Kellar

but here are a couple more if you want...they are not by John Crichton, but I liked them:

Discovery consists in seeing what everyone else has seen and thinking what no one else has thought.
    Albert Szent-Gyorgi

I don't know if those work for you but I don't know what kind of game you are running either....hope it helps good luck!

My favorite John Crichton quote is...

    "What would Captain Kirk do?"

    IIRC

Crichton gets all the good lines

Wish I could think of some right now.

Not all... Dargo gets some beauts.

Crichton: (as heroic music plays in the BG, and they fly a ship to certain doom) You ok, Rasta-man?"

    Dargo: I have to pee.

    (They both break up giggling)

Chrichton (to some bad guy): "Who's your daddy?"

Dargo (to same): "I'm your daddy...)

    You missed a line

Criton: "Who's your Daddy? Dargo, Tell him who his daddy is..."

Dargo: (In a most intimidating vioce) "I'm YOUR daddy!!!"

    Man I love that show...

I'm sorry but the absolute best ever line in Farscape has to be the following (or at least something along these lines).

DARGO: John, I have good news and bad news.

JOHN: Okay, Dargo, whats the bad news?

DARGO: You're going to be turned into a statue and suffer agonising pain for 60 years.

JOHN: So, what's the good news?

DARGO: Chianna and I are having fantastic sex.

Well, I liked it anyway (I guess you had to be there).

Of course there's the line from the intro to Farscape Undressed (or What the Frell is this?).

BEN BROWDER: Hello, I'm Ben Browder and I'm coming to you live, or at least it was live when we filmed this, from the set of Farscape here in beautiful Sydney, Australia.

I just read a interview with Ben Browder and I get the feeling the man's as mad as John Crichton.

I've been giving the name of the ship in my game some more thought and I was considering calling the ship the USS Sentinel instead which leads me to ask if anyone can suggest a class for the ship (based on the fact that there has to be a class of Federation ship that suits a name like that one).

Continuing the thread within a thread as to why Farscape is the mutts nuts of sci-fi I have a question:

What is the best "bit" of Farscape?

My vote goes for the bit in the body swap episode when Crichton gets put in Aeryn's body and decides (naturally) to have a bit of a grope.

Yes, I'm that pervy (at times).
