    Ok, you asked for it.

    RSN Ranks
Fleet Admiral-Operational level planning and deployment of Fleet

    As listed in above post.

    Trooper
    Sergeant
    Sub-Lieutenant
    Lieutenant
    Captain
    Major
    Brig-General
    Lt-General
    Major General

Supreme Commander of RGF is Major General Korel Terik

    RGF Units

After the Serona GF training occurs at the Korath Tanar Military Training College located on Derassa IV.

After the 12 week course the recruit is refered to by the semi-derogatory term of Korvash (Provisional) and attends specialized training.

    One other thing though...

i.e. If a Romulan were to say "oh my god"...

what would the word for "god" be ?

I thought centurions were low-ranking officers, like Centurion Bochra from the TNG episode "The Enemy." No way he was Captain-equivilant. "

Just curious about your sources. Is any of this pulled from the shows, or is it all home brewed?

Granted not "official" in some circles, the information comes from the Way of D'era from LUG...I treat LUG as canon others may disagree. In the Way of D'era the Romulan rank structure went about a change, what series year I 'm not sure, The Rank of Centurion was raised from a jr. position to a more senior one that of commanding fleet Centuries. The old centurion rank was replaced by the rank of Sub-Lieutenant.

The show with Bochra (shrug) I don't know what to say...other then I always thought he looked too young to be a Centurion, in either rank structure.

One other way you could look at it is in the symbol the Romulans have been sing sense they were first introduced- The Hunting/Attacking Bird. To steal a line from TOS "The Great Bird of the Galaxy" (I know this was in reference to Gene Rodenbury, but it fits here too). I also think there has been mention of a bird or bird-like deity in the Romulan religion.

Again going by what was said in LUGs Way of D'era the Ra'Tar, an eagle like bird of prey that can be seen soaring in the skies of Romulas was adopted at the symbol of the Romulan Empire.

On the first couple of pages of this thread AR listed some of the Vulcan gods, which he translated over to a Romulan PAntheon.
