I'd like to help (and/or testread) if I can. I read DS9:Milllennnium and Avatar, if thats of any use.
Yeah, I'd take a look at it.
Nope, I don't really care.

The darkness inside me is a lot scarier than the darkness out there....
I would like to see these netbooks, but only if they are separate (as been mentioned above) in order to narrow the size and scope of each. Eventually, there could be one for each indivdual book series:
Star Trek: New Frontier
Star Trek: Deep Space Nine (relaunch)
Star Trek: S.C.E.
and eventually,
Star Trek: Challenger
Star Trek: Stargazer
Star Trek: Voyager (relaunch)
and potentially, Star Trek: The Original Series books (as seen at http://www.psiphi.org/cgi/upc-db/0743445929.html)
How could you not want this! Do it, please! (Starts kissing Caretaker's boots)![]()

What the heck is all this "relaunch" stuff?![]()
The <i>Deep Space Nine</i> and (eventually) <i></i>Voyager<i></i> relaunch books continue the events of the series after their finales. The <i>Deep Space Nine</i> one introduces several new characters in addition to the old ones; there's not enough about the <i></i>Voyager<i></i> ones to know whether or not that will happen.Originally posted by Perrryyy

The <i>Star Trek</i>: The Original Series relaunch is a series of continuous books (apparently mostly trilogies; the <i>DS9</i> one has been doing duologies outside of the crossovers) during the <i>Enterprise</i>'s original five-year mission. It'll be closer in tone to later series, though; the supporting characters were treated like glorified extras in the actual series, but the books will treat them like the ensemble they were meant to be.

I very well may end up doing that; it'll depend on the size. With just the copyright page, TOC, introduction, half the historical chapter for all of them, and all but one ICON starship, I'm already pushing 35 pages (admittedly, with 10 pt after each paragraph, but the body is also in 10 pt Times New Roman).Originally posted by Caretaker

I can write up the majority of these (outline & body text, plus the race & planetary stats), if someone can do the starships and tech. I don't have the <i>TOS Core Rule Book</i>, or I'd do them myself--if I tried, they'd probably end up way out of scale with what they should be.and eventually,
Star Trek: Challenger
Star Trek: Stargazer
<b>*Note:</b> the above is invalid if the Decipher RPG material comes out before the Stargazer books do. At that point, I'll happily write one for CODA. I'll also port the old stuff over to the new system ASAP.
Since the Decipher <i></i>Voyager<i></i> material should be out by then (<i>Homecoming</i>, the first book, doesn't come out until some time in 2003), I again will work on that.Star Trek: Voyager (relaunch)
Again, the same caveats as Challenger and Stargazer.and potentially, Star Trek: The Original Series books (as seen at http://www.psiphi.org/cgi/upc-db/0743445929.html)

Again I offer my limited layout skills and knowledge to the effort.
I cannot write or research but I sure can ty to make it look pretty![]()
I am taking you up on your offer, Aslan. Guess I forgot to mention it.
Sorry about that!

I'd like to apologize in advance for not being able to complete the testreading versions for this weeking like I'd hoped earlier. I've had more schoolwork than expected, and also have an essay to work on over the weekend.
I haven't forgotten, and I'll keep chugging away when I have time.

I wouldn't mind getting in on this testread. I <b>love</b> the DS9 relaunch novels and New Frontier, and used those continuities in my Rapid Response series from a few months ago.

The "Planets & Adventures" project seems to be going down for want of active participants, so I have a complete layout concept just waiting to be used.
And since I have nothing else to use it for...
Any progress here? Need any help? I just finished SCE book 1, have Avatar 1&2 handy (and a Stitch in Time), and many of the New Frontier books.
