Okay, we've seen Constellations, Nebulas, and Galaxis.

So, if the Federation was to design a Universe Class ship 25-50 years after Endgame, what would it look like?

No, make that one mile long with a slightly squashed sphere for a saucer section with a thick cylindrical secondary hull connected directly to the rear of the saucer, with two pylons connecting to long box- shaped nacelles, in turn connected to a perfectly cylindrical tube.

Wrong genre. That's an Imperial Cruiser.

The picture in mu head doesn't look at all like a sovereign, but if you like the picture in yours, go for it. The tube part is like in the SS Enterprise from TMP and like the Vulcan ships on Enterprise, only long.
