    Question The Scimitar

Now I'm jumping the gun a bit here.........but I hear that in Star Trek:Nemesis there is going to be a new Romulan Warbird prototype called the "Scimitar" which the main baddie Shinzon uses to kick seven shades of doo-doo out of Enterprise!

This warbird is rumoured to have some new superweapon which makes normal Warbirds and other vessels look like a runabout in strength and power!

Anyone care to try and develop the stats for this baby?

Maybe we'd be better waiting until the movie comes out, then we'll have a much better idea of what this ship can actually do

    Yowsers!

It suppose to have : "...Fifty-two disruptor banks, twenty-seven torpedo bays, primary and secondary phased shields...” and it can fire while cloaked.

If it's the truth...god help the ship on the recieving end of those weapons!

I wonder if they were developing that Warbird to fight The Dominion.

What in the blue %$^% are they doing now?! Any Romulan Warbird couldn pound any Fed ship into snail snot as it is. The Romulans have no need for a "Death Star" weapon.

The more I hear about this up coming movie the more I think I will miss it.

Whoa! I really need to slow down on the typing. I seem to be going faster then my brain can track.

I meant to say..."Its not like most Romulan ships can't already pound most Fed ships to snail snot..."

Well, from a tech point of view... An exhaust port, which was what it was, tends to be functionless if not connected to anything that needs an exhaust...

Not only that, but we should all know that its OK to build a superweapon as long as there is just 1 design flaw that enables the good guys to win out... So there! I am sure that we could all come up with something that seems flawless, but the truth is, thats the bad way to go, everything has a flaw. Bill Gates has seen to that!

And based on that logic, you are probably not far wrong, doesn't a main character die or something? Maybe its a suicide attack... Best suggestion? Get over it and move on... Either that or suddenly spring millions of $ and buy paramount for the executive control... At the end of the day, those are the only two options that will have any effect of the world around you.
