    Wink Holographic PCs

I was wondering if anybody has ever played a holographic character before.

One of my players was asking me about playing one. What would be the attributes, advantages, disadvantages, and skills?

How would you GM a holographic character?

Got to say, I hate the holographic character idea. That's just me, though.

Discussed quite heavily recently. Many ideas and options can be found at; http://www.trekrpg.net/Board/ubb/For...ML/000463.html

I quite like the idea of a holo character but it would be best suited for a casual attendee rather than a regular as their interaction is limited to ship borne adventures (Don`t give them a Portable Emitter as it just won`t be right). It could be used for a player to portray a "famous" character - such as Kirk or Picard - and to get a different point of view of things. The representations don`t need to be always right either - take a look at Geordi`s Leah Brahms for example - so players CAN take holographic liberties with these "known" characters. Just some ideas.....
