Hi all,
Don, didn't I read you said somewhere that you had already converted the Nebula (since it isn't in the books)... since you made it yourself, *maybe* there's no NDA issue...
(hint... hint.. )
As for the structure point debate, has anyone thought that the shield technology has advanced since the time of TOS? Maybe the structure doesn't *need* to be as tough on the Galaxy as the Constitution... I was also going to draw an economics view, but the money situation in ST is kinda funny...
Cheers,

when the shields go down, I'll take as much superstructure strength as I can get, thank you

Hello Doktor Evil,
Allow myself to introduce... myself. (sorry, couldn't resist)
Agreed on the superstructure thing - you can never have enough. Just a thought that perhaps they had improved ship design over the years. Don't think the Constitution ever had emergency forcefields that activate in the event of a hull breach. To get more room in the Galaxy they could perhaps tradeoff extra superstructure... just a thought.
Hey Don.... poke..... "Nebula" .... thanks, eh!
Cheers,
