Nat'l Geographic and Lord of the Rings

Just thought I would post this here for those who might be interested. Tonight I picked a National Geographic video that looked at the background of Middle-Earth. Focused a bit on Tolkien's life and some of the historical backgrouds he used in his creation. There also was some interviews with the production staff and cast of the movie. Not too in deapth, I think it was about an hour long, but very interesting, at least from a Tolkien novice such as myself.

It is out on VHS and DVD.

    Sounds interesting, Phantom.

Are there any hard-core JRRT fans out there who want to review that show for those of us who've read The Silmarillion five or six times?

It wasn't so much a history of Middle-Earth, but a history of the formation of Middle-Earth.
