Here is a revised version of my newest starship construction project:

The Resolute Class Tactical Cruiser

Basically, I modified the pulse phasers and torp launchers, plus trimmed back a couple of systems to make room for Ablative Armor points, plus an expanded shuttlebay. Note that there is no spare SUs; I deliberately filled the ship with Armor. My reasoning is that some of the armor represent internal bulkheads and can be removed to make room for extra systems as needed. Overall, she is a nasty, vicious ship in combat; armed to the bulkheads and damn tough to kill.
