Ok, so can I get my money back?
"Sorry but your store credit card is good FOREVER so please wait and I'm sure something will come out that you will want to buy"
But the ST RPG books are the ONLY books I want!.....
'
and on and onward and so forth
this is in a long line of:
"This is a popular book we only had 2 copies If you wish to order it will take 3 months to get here"
"Ooops this is the WRONG book?! the person must have gotten yours instead let's reorder it!"
"Your books is herere! OOPS! we lost it! we gotta look for it!" 3 hrs later.....
"Oooh we forgot your book was on hold and sold it we'll look for another one."
"You must pay in cash with an additional $10 and give it to us BEFORE we order it"
":RASPBERRY:"

Thx for stopping by
if you don't promote the product who will?
The marketing department is being paid NOT to market
The no PDF arguement ran along the lines of:
"The artwork makes it IMPOSSIBLE"
to
"The guys who can do it DON'T CARE"
I KNOW I KNOW I shouldn't complain I've been already slapped on the wrist
But it's MY hard earned MONEY
How long will the Stealth Marketing TM continue?
I want the ST RPG to succeed Decipher wants the ST RPG to succeed

So, please keep answering our questions I apperiate it
will there be info on holodeck or time travel adventures in the Player's Guide?
Now if <I>THAT</I> isn't a bad case of RPG withdrawal symptoms!

Well anyway, 2-3 weeks is good to hear. I was hoping for it a little sooner than that, but after waiting so long, who am I to complain? *brushes the dust off of my credit card*

Like
"1011 uses for the Babel Fish"
"Car cleaning and You:How not to lock your keys inside"
"Tribbles, Rabbits and Warp Cores: Weird experiences of Starfleet-unauthorized void in certain sectors please see your kindly romulan smuggler for details"

The basics of holodecks are explained in the Starships chapter of the Player's Guide and time travel is mentione din passing in a couple of places. But, as this is the Player's Guide, there isn't really any advice for running scenarios of any kind. Any advice for running and creating adventures would be more appropriate to the Narrator's Guide.will there be info on holodeck or time travel adventures in the Player's Guide?

I don't have access to the cover image yet, but I wouldn't be too worried about picking up the wrong book. If the book you are looking at doesn't say "Star Trek Roleplaying Game Players Guide" on the cover, it's the wrong one.Originally posted by jedimuldoon

I asked this once before, but I can't find the answer, so (with apologies): will there be rules for "kitbashing" PC/NPC races other than the ones given in the books, and, if so, will they be in the Players or Narrator's guide?
Deo Vindice!
Yes, there are rules for creating alien species in the Narrator's Guide. The three species given (Romulans, Andorians, Orions) are simply examples of that process.Originally posted by darkwing duck1

Thanks for such a quick answer! If you don't mind a follow up question so quickly: what are the "benchmarks" for attributes? (That is, for example: X number of points of Strength = X lbs of lifting ability.) How do humans fit on the scale?

Not a problem!Originally posted by darkwing duck1

Okay, Attributes normally range from 1 to 12 (the only exceptions being if you have a Species Attribute Modifier or Penalty that puts you above or below those limits). Humans have no attribute modifiers. So the average attribute is 6-7.what are the "benchmarks" for attributes? (That is, for example: X number of points of Strength = X lbs of lifting ability.) How do humans fit on the scale?
A character can lift a number of kilograms equal to 20xStrength. So a human with a 7 Strength would be able to lift 140 kg. But a Klingon (+1 Strength modifier) with a 13 strength would be able to lift 260 kg.
