Ok Don or anybody else suggestion time. There is a place on the site here for new ships and new races but none for new planets and systems. I hope that with the new Strange New Worlds supplement comeing out soon that a place can be added for them. Imagine posting worlds visted in the TOS era and then picked up by a Narrator in the TNG era who then works it into an episode of his own saying, "OK, this planet was visted in 2269 by the USS. . .". Just a random thought.
Sadly, I have never received (to my knowledged) a submission that included a planet or system (outside of an adventure).
So, unless I start seeing a whole bunch cross my desk, that's why I don't have a section for any.
Also, the planet-creation rules in "The Starfleet Exploration Handbook: To Boldly Go" will likely spur some interest in system, planet, and alien species creation.
Eric, you seem to be suggesting write-ups of worlds that appeared in TOS. Would you consider a list of those planets useful?
I've got a list of the worlds that appeared or were mentioned in TOS and the Animated Series. I am copying it into the computer, and am up to the "C"s now. If folks would like to see it, I can work faster.

Assimilation is futile
You will be resisted.
Spy One I would be more than interested in that list when its done so send it on over. Thats the type of stuff we deed to make maps with too.
You heard Don folks, send them in! Can't let that pile of submissions on Don's desk get to low you know. (Grin) As to the new and correctly tittled supplement "To boldly Go" that was my thinking too as it seems the system/planet creator will be quite detailed and spur interest in the subject.
I have always watched StarTrek in all its guises and have tried the earlier attempts at a RPG, but until LUGTrek they never worked for me. Now I am building the material I need to run a good game.
Spyone: Your listing of TOS worlds would be more than welcome
Eric R: As soon as I fix my small computer problem I will be glad to share anything I have come up with, though I think I will be in catch up mode for a bit.
Okay. Here's the "A"s and "B"s. Lets see how this goes.
What follows based upon an article that appeared in Stardate Magazine in 1985 which was authored by Dale L. Kemper, which in turn was based upon other articles in the fan press. Just as Dale L. Kemper added to the data from his own viewings, I have added data from my viewings and from the Encyclopedia where I deemed appropriate.

Many episodes have mentioned Federation colonies. And yet, I don't know if there has been a master list of them. It might be worthwhile, for those characters who might not want to be from one of the standard palnets (Teller, Earth, etc.). Seems more fun to be able to say, "I'm from Cestus III."
