Thumbs up "The Battle of Betazed"

I also just finished reading The Battle of Betazed today. Overall, very well written; I especially loved the way that Deanna and Lwaxana Troi were written. Be warned though that Lwaxana Troi is a far grimmer character in this book than she ever was on TNG. It also features characters from DS9 and Commander Vaughn from the post-WYLB DS9 novels.
The best way to predict the future is to create it.

Well I finally got round to reading it. I agree wiyh Highway comments. My only nit was that the conclusion happened rather fast.

Its a good read, a lot better than many ST books.

I enjoyed it as well. One of things I noticed was the dialog was very true to the characters. I've read too many Star Trek books where it screams that Picard, or Troi, or Riker would never say that, think that, do that, or use certain sytax of words. I was very impressed with this book in keeping true to the characters, especially Troi's inner termoil. Gateways Book3 ST:TNG - Doors Into Chaos was another one that stayed true to the character as well.
