    Talking Here it is! Name the ugliest Star Trek ship..

    Here we go....

    I'd like to know what Star Trek vessel is the ugliest in the universe. Please name your top 3.

    1.) Intrepid class - This ship just looks like a big shoehorn!
    2.) Merced class - thats not a ship..its a... don't know. It's just ugly!
    3.) Bajoran Assault Vessel - just boring...and ugly

    special award: Borg Cube - the first time I saw "the dice of assimilation" on screen, I thought that this was the silliest shipdesign I've ever seen. A ship had to be streamlined, now I know better

    I've limited my answers to the ships I've seen on screen and in the LUG books.

    1. D'Deridex Warbird -- I always think of the big giant head when I see that thing...

    2. Vor'cha -- I never warmed up to the Green Machine. It just looked too "klunky."

    3. New Orleans, Deneva, Merced -- all three are so hideously drawn, it was hard to choose which one was worse.

    Dishonorable Mention -- Orion Pirate Ship from LUG TOS. FASA's movie-era blockade runner was just so much cooler looking.

    I'm just going by the stuff we've seen on screen; none of the game stuff or anything...

    Ugliest? Ambassador class

    Freedom class (by far the ugliest ship EVER)
    Niagara class (which would look great without the third nacelle)
    Excelsior refit

    Thumbs down Ugliest Ship

    Okay, here's my vote:

    1. Galaxy Class: Overdone, over decorated
    2. D'Derex Class warbird: Reminds me for all the world of Burgess Meredith's "Penguin" submarine from the old 1960's Batman movie
    3: Nebula Class (see item #1)
