There are a surprisingly large number of gold nuggets buried amongst the rest of the stuff. My personal favourite was "Flesh and Blood" - the last word on the holographic sentience issue. "Equinox" was cool too. "Mortal Coil" surprised me, as Neelix has to be one of the worst characters ever - but then I've always thought they could do more with him (Hell, they should've done more with every character - check out Jeri Taylor's "Pathways" novel and you'll see what I mean...). There are more, but I suggest you check out Jammer's reviews on:

And look at anything rated 3 stars or higher (only for VOY - DS9 pretty consistently gets this standard...)

    Equinox 1 (not 2)

    Caretaker 1 and 2

    and dare is say...

    Endgame 1 and 2

(Sorry, but I love that episode. And no, I am not a Voyager lover, I have continuosly bashed Voyager since its arrival on television.)

    Thumbs up

First, I have to agree that there were a lot of good Voyager episodes. I think part of the problem is that there were so many equally bad episodes that they (the good ones) got lost in the shuffle. Plus, I get the impression not many people followed Voyager all the way through (like myself).

With that said, we've had this discussion before:

My list of favorites are on there and some of the reasoning behind them. Mind you, I prefer more character-oriented episodes, so you won't see me praising "Dark Frontier" or "Scorpion" anytime soon.

"Pathfinder," especially the last five minutes, always gets to me. Anytime TV can stir emotions I think it's done something special.
