STAR TREK: LAKOTA supporting cast
Installment #1 of the NPC supporting crew for my series STAR TREK: LAKOTA. Only one character, the captain Erika Benteen, has actually appeared in the Star Trek canon. These characters were generated using the Rules For Command Rank Characters in the Tactical section of TrekRPG.net, except for their renown, which I put in myself based on how famous I felt they would be.Feel free to use them as supporting cast in your own game if you wish.

Originally seen in the DS9 episode "Homefront." Was court-martialed after the events of that episode, accquitted of most charges. Demoted to Commander for a year, then repromoted to Captain and returned to command of the Lakota. Takes Starfleet regulations more lightly then most captains, but still has a good knowledge of general procedure and doing things "by the book."
There are rumors among the crew that she is romantically involved with her first officer, Commander Doran, but this has never been confirmed, and as for the captain, she isn't talking.
