    Steve's Domion Sourcebook Download

Hi all. Actually, I had asked this question in the Narrator's room but only got one reply so I thought I would ask it here too.

I downloaded Mr. Long's BEAUTIFUL Dominion War sourcebook and I was wondering if there is a version without all the graphics somewhere. While I certainly love the way it looks, it will be a little hard on the ink cartridge.

Is there a less flashy, boring old "text" edition? In the other room some suggested I send the URL of the document to and adobe link and that they would "text" it, but I wasn't sure about that, too be honest.

    Thanks!

Well, this is not exactly the correct board to be discussing this issue, but I will try to help.

Your best bet is to email Steve Long and talk to him directly about it. Please realize he is probably pretty busy right now (he runs his own rpg design now I think, HERO I believe) and may not get back to you. Still, it is worth a humble try. He may just have an early, text-only version.

You should be able to find his email address under his profile for this message board.

    Good luck.

P.S. It is a very cool book. I mourn the day when Steve left Decipher for other prospects. But hey, he is still out there writing more of his great rpg material, and probably writing more of it.

No, I don't have a plaintext version kicking around, aside from the original, unformatted document. Steve might have one, but I suspect he's going to refer you back to the fully laid-out PDF.

Thanks for the complement--I put a lot of time into the DWS layout.
