Ok, I'm ashamed now
I've only been working here 2 years, and can't produce anything that good...
Although the maps in "The Cardassians" were produced using CC2 and its sister program Fractal Terrains
CC2 is indeed available from our website - I won't do any advertising here, I don't think it's really what this place is for and our site does a good enough job
I will point out that we do occasionally get complaints about the learning curve, and that after much discussion within the next couple of weeks a newer version of the software will address a lot of the issues. Those of you who own copies will be able to download an upgrade for free from the website when it appears. You will need to be registered to do so.
CC2 is mostly aimed at continental and local maps in fantasy settings rather than sci-fi stuff, but we are working on an add-on product to handle most sci-fi elements (this is what Anomaly keeps alluding to). No sign of a release date yet, though.
It has to be said, Anomaly is one of our more inspired users
Especially given that he bought the progam only last year...
I have to go away and improve my own skills now...

"There are worlds out there where the sky is burning, where the sea is asleep and the rivers dream; people made of smoke and cities made of song.
Somewhere there's danger, somewhere there's injustice, and somewhere else the tea is getting cold. Come on, Ace, we've got work to do."
