Question on the Archetypes in Coda

It says just add 5 points to them and you're good to go but it looks to me like they don't have their species skills; is this true?

I am considering an optional rule that just gives 6 skills levels to the person's native culture, history, specific world and language skills...and just using those as the species skills.

That would be right. They don't have their Species Skills. (At least as far as I can tell...)

No, they don't have the species skills. Ross was a bit miffed that this notation was dropped during layout telling the player this.

I've noticed a few things about this game that lead me to think that "well, the art department guys are used to board games and trading card games...they'll get used to RPG's in time." So far none of it has seriously detracted from my enjoyment of the game, especially with the proliferation of new character sheets floating about <g>.

I Noticed something too. On the Ferengi Archtype, He has a Misc Bonus of +5 for Buisness. His species abilities only add up to +4. Where did the extra +1 come from?

    Savvy bonus?

I've noticed another thing: The Human Starfleet Command Officer, as a human, has The Human Spirit ability which can give you a +2 bonus to Quickness, Stamina or Willpower, and this guy has chosen Stamina, but he also has a bonus to Savvy. Why?
