    Repairing Shield Strength

If you divert power from another system, thus lowering it's "Damage Track," do you suffer the Critical too?

Ex- Divert power from Reliability E Sensors to Shield Strength, which is down a bit. Sensors go to Reliability D, but is the ship now at "-1 to all maneuvers?"

I am dead. As of this moment, we are all dead. We go into battle to reclaim our lives. This we do gladly because we are Jem’Hadar. Remember, victory is life.

I would think no, since it's not damage.
"War is an ugly thing but not the ugliest of things; the decayed and degraded state of moral and patriotic feelings which thinks that nothing is worth war is much worse. A man who has nothing for which he is willing to fight, nothing which is more important than his own personal safety, is a miserable creature and has no chance of being free unless made and kept so by the exertions of better men than himself."

I disagree with qerlin. The rules for Reinforcing Shields (NG, p. 107) are fairly straightforward: damage is applied to the system from which power is being diverted.

Nothing prevents a competent ship's engineer from making an Emergency Repair (NG, pp. 122-3) to that system at any time afterward, however. A jury-rig only requires a full-round action.

(Something this Ship's Engineer has used to his advantage several times already. )
