    I need a name...

Much like "Owen E Oulton's Adventure Gaming In The Star Trek Universe" I wish to bring all my Star Trek Campaigns (past, present and future) together under one umbrella webpage.

But I am having a hell of a time coming up with a good name.

I have been kicking around Star Trek: Strange New Worlds, but that is the name of a fanfic series.

Owen's name works for his site, but for me it is too wordy. I want something snappier.

For now the sites that will be under this one page will be...

    Star Trek: Lexington
    Star Trek: Genesis
Star Trek: Adventures of the Farscape
    Star Trek: Dauntless

Someday it will also host my post Movie Gen game set in 2295 or so.

    Any ideas gang?

If there is a common theme in all your campaigns, you could use a title based on that (for instance, if your players liked to play the same characters types from one adventure to another, a title based on their respective genres could work).

Otherwise, some suggestions from my deranged mind, without any guarantee whatsoever that they aren't already taken for episodes, novels, or sites :

Star Trek : Final Frontier and beyond
    Star Trek : Memory Alpha
    Star Trek : The Aslanverse

    Or better : Star Trek : A.S.L.A.N.

That way people would be trying to find what this acronym stands for

Of course it depends on AslanC's megalomania

Let's just say I am not that megalomanical just yet.

I think using my name may be the wrong way to go. But I appreciate the thought gents

Star Trek : Final Frontier and beyond

I like that... not quite what I am looking for, but on the right track...

Star Trek: Final Frontier is perfect, except for that lousy movie

I don't have a good track record for naming Aslan-stuff, but here I go anyway...

    Star Trek: Omnibus

    Omnibus is defined as...

    om·ni·bus
    noun
    1. A long motor vehicle for passengers; a bus.
    2. A printed anthology of the works of one author or of writings on related subjects.

Interesting idea. Not a bad call Sho.

Is it just me or does it have a sense of past and not forward to it? Not something moving forward, but a collection of the past.

I was thinking of #1 of course.

The bus moves forward (most of the time). I see what you're saying though, and it does feel like that, but it is a record is it not? I'll keep thinking anyway.

To take a cue from C5, how about something like

    ST: Memory Beta/Delta/Gamma... or perhaps
    ST: Fleet Archives

Well, since all STRPG-universes must contain at least part of the established canon (events, locations & characters), and the PC's eventually become renowned heroes as well, you could opt for

    Star Trek: Legends

For the more serious naming conventions:

    Star Trek: Sector 001

    Star Trek: IDIC

    Star Trek: Alpha Quadrant

Star Trek: Starstation Aurora (I think this one may be taken.)

For the not so serious naming conventions:

Star Trek: My Bloody Great Site!!

Star Trek: The not-so Next Generation

Star Trek: Is that a Vorlon coming through the wormhole?

    Star Trek: God-Emperor of Vulcan

    Name

How about Star Trek: Living History?
At times like these I am reminded of the immortal words of Socrates, who said "... I drank what?"
