    Heheh, this kind of reminds me of a little incident that occured here in DC late August or early September. Great Britain beat Germany in this football/soccer or rugby match that the Brits were projected to lose.

    Well, they won and some Brits (who were rumored to be junior members of the Consulate staff) in DC came by the German Embassy and started singing songs in the wee hours outside the gates. Unfortunately for them, Embassy Row is considered a residential area and the police had to come by to tell them to go home and sleep it off. In all fairness, according to the police, it broke up quietly after they fulfilled a request to have some "snaps" taken of them getting frisked and cuffed.

    I'm a soccer fan, too (as you can see I'm from Europe).
    Unfortunately my own team was eliminated in the second half of the tournament.
    We'll try next year.
