In all honesty, I must add here I, Mudd and A piece of the action, as being among the few ST episode that made me actually wholeheartedly laugh.

    That said...
*Insert special effects à la Dr Jekyll here*

How dare, you, you unbeliever AslanC, state that Saint Gene allowed humorous episodes to be made!!! He respected his characters too much to allow that. Beside, what is the point of an humorous episode ? It brings nothing to continuity!!! Look this awful movie with the whales!! It breaks every technical continuity we hold dear! It's crap! It was probably written by Braga under a false name. Death to humor! It disrupts continuity!!!!

Enterprise bashers are entitled to their opinion; I don't agree with it, but I welcome it. However, I get tired of hearing the same drek over-and-over about canon or technobabble or props or the look of the ship...or, worse, belitting the people who do like the show.

If you can't take it, don't dish it out.
Yes, I do bash Ent and B&B I fully admit that. But I have not, intentionally, bashed anyone here, and in most cases where a misunderstanding on my part has occured I have apologized for it, example the "brainwashing" remark I made. It was not aimed at anyone in particular, it was meant as a rebuke to a simialr reference in the first post in thread. Someone took it for a personal insult and I apologized for it as it was not intended in such a light. Funny how I haven't been extended the same courtesy about the insults that I found in that first post.

Is it me, or do a lot of people here just like to complain for any reason?

    Ok, I am a complainer. Let's take a look at that "title" shall we;

Qerlin, as your statement is a complaint against my complaining I guess we are in the same boat, are we not?

Let us add to this shall we? Those that have expressed they're negative opinions about AotC...Complainers. Those that have expressed negative opinions against Enterprise...Complainers. Those that have dared say that DecTrek is priced too high...Complainers.

Hey! What do you know? We seem to have more common ground then I thought. I guess I am in very august company.

This might come as a shock to you Phantom, so you should better sit down first:

The world does not revolve around you or your opinions about a TV show. Get over yourself, man!

I really don't care whether you like Enterprise or not. Or whether you appreciate the humour in my post or not. I'm not a public service, I'm not here to please anyone. I express my opinions on whatever I want. Just like you do.

And I am not going to apologize because you didn't get the joke. I was under the impression that the people coming to this board are fairly clever. That they are able to notice humour when it's being used. Please, Phantom, don't make me change my mind.

I have little interest in explaining my post. It's in plain english. If you feel attacked or insulted by it, I really can't help you. I can assure you though I wasn't thinking about you. (As shocking as this might be.) If you're not sure what I meant, ask me. But don't assume I care enough about what you say or post, to actually insult you.

The opening post was satire and as such probably not for everyone. But what is anyway?

    Rock on, Diz!

I'd make another observation, but I wouldn't want it to be misconstrued as a complaint.

Well, guess I have been put in my place. Your sense of humour must be too advanced for me. I have been thinking of a way to respond, but was unable to come up with anything satisfactory. Lack of cleverness, I guess.

So, before this "conversation" gets out of hand I shall leave the field so we can still part as "friends." And as my opinion dosen't seem to count for much on this thread, I shall consider it a Red Zone and stay away.

I look forward to talking to you on the other threads.

    Spero meliora.

Is it me, or is there a little tension in here?
