I called the gaming store I got the PG at, he didn't know the date and told me he'd find out for me. He called Decipher direct but couldn't get an answer...

He told me he'll keep trying and call me back tomorrow to let me know what he finds out. Lets hope for some good news, eh?

Well, the ST RPG site at the decipher store is suddenly either offline or there's 'no items listed'...which might mean they're updating the page to include the NG. If that's the case, it'll probably show up on the 24/25th.
"War is an ugly thing but not the ugliest of things; the decayed and degraded state of moral and patriotic feelings which thinks that nothing is worth war is much worse. A man who has nothing for which he is willing to fight, nothing which is more important than his own personal safety, is a miserable creature and has no chance of being free unless made and kept so by the exertions of better men than himself."

The site worked for me about a minute ago as I type this; there was no change that I could see. *le grand sigh*

I just checked myself and the site isn't down anymore, however there's nothing listed. No products, it just says "It seems that there are currently no items to display for this search.
Please use the Product Search link to try another search."

I agree that they're most likely updating to include the NG...that's what I hope. I really hope Paramount didn't get pissy and decide to cancel with Decipher. That seems to be a hobby of thiers...especially when its a good system.

Please bow your heads a moment and pray with me for it being the former and not the latter.

Thats what happened when the PG was going in. The whole on-line store was messed up untill the PG was set in. Lets hope it's out soon!

The Narrator's Guide will begin appearing in local retail stores, the Decipher store, and the Star Trek Fan Club store on or around June 5th, 2002.

Just updated on the Decipher site. Looks like we have yet another two weeks to go....except for me, I have 3 because I'm leaving for my vacation on the 5th.

Well, at least they told us when to expect it. That's better than us sitting in limbo and waiting...

Thumbs up Starship sample pages on website

Just found some starship data sheets posted on the website. Blury, but at least something to whet the appatite until the NG is out.

I saw them. It's more like they're teasing us each day. Can't wait till the NG comes out! grr.... what was that they said about patience being a virtue?

minor nitpick, but since the PG layout and cover are blue, I would have thought that the NG's red cover would be accompanied by a red based layout.

I order all the RPG stock for a comic shop in England and despite bank holidays, the good companies (eg; White Wolf & Decipher) have decided to throw their stock at the suppliers early so that we'll get it at the usual time. They're recieving the books on Friday and we'll definitely get it on Wednesday. Knowing how we're almost always last to get anything over here you lot should get it by then as well.

By the way, I prefer the blue background than if they did red. Red creates such an adversarial feeling and goes against the feeling of Star Trek. After all, we don't want the GM's to feel like they want to kill the players... do we?

Red? Doesn't that mean the NG will be "destroyed" early on to prove how dangerous the monster of the week is .

    "What is that Klingon?"

    "You're wearing a red shirt."
