    And we can start the errata right now. NG, p. 196: "Lor" should be "Lore."

    It's so sad to be me right now....

    What's your complaint...too much salt is not good for you anyway!!

    Although you're right, there is a striking resemblance to one of my ex-girlfriends....and that's without the illusion power...{YIKES!!}

    Well don't let me stop you if that's your thang. It's just there's a time and a place for killer GM's and it's called Hackmaster. Or Paranoia. Or Call of Cthulhu. All of these games easily validate the widespread slaughter of PC's, but lots of deaths in Star Trek is a bit offputting. Other than the red-shirts, it was damn rare that the main cast died. I guess you could make a red-shirt campaign. That could be a laugh, especially with the speedy character creation rules in CODA.
    Happy slaughtering,

    I'm afraid you're either not getting this game, or your GM plain sucks. Cthulhu is not about slaughtering the group. It's about the characters sacrificing themselves (mentally or physically) to save humanity.
    If your GM turns it into a PC-Killfest, somebody obviously needs to deal with his/her 'issues'.

    All this is seriously off-topic.

    And I do think that the posts you were referring to were meant with tongue firmly in cheek.

    I'm not sure I agree with you on this Joe ... but you're right in saying this is seriously off topic, and as I am too lazy to start a new thread for it, I'll leave it at that.
