    Post Starbase 315 Series

I have been making preparations for a Starbase 315 Series (more information regarding Starbase 315 can be found in the back of the TNG Player's Guide).

The new Series revolves around the introduction of several new officers (and others) to the Starbase staff. The new Chief of Operations was a character in my Cadets Lost in the Delta Quadrant campaign, as was the new Envoy General for the Federation Diplomatic Corps (he was a former Starfleet Officer from the same aforementioned campaign that left to pursue a career as a diplomat). The new Executive Officer is a new PC as well. So is the Security Chief.

There are a number of items I've already worked out, but I was hoping for some others' insights as to how they've used the material.

Has anyone else worked with this material? Lou P wrote this stuff and I must say that it is extremely impressive. Any comments or suggestions would certainly be well received.

I meant to put this in the Narrator's section. Could someone move it there for me please?

    Thanks.

I used this material as basis for an own campaign onboard a starbase at the Cardassian Border. I creatd Starbase 417 but and played a campaign there. Although I recognized that the players did not really like it, they wanted a starship. So we moved but the base still had some appearances. I created a whocle setting description and I would sent you to my page if it would not be down thanks to fortunecity, so I can only offer you to send you my material if you are interested, perhaps you can use something ( I created maps of a "Promenade Deck" and the OPS, created NPC's and systems and the like ).

Yes, that would be helpful as my initial session begins tomorrow.

Wow... thanks for the kind words, and I'm glad to hear you like the Starbase 315 setting. It was a fun project... one I hoped to get the chance to elaborate on at some point. We'll see...

Hey, no problem there, Lou. I mentioned this last year as well, and, after spending more time reviewing the material, I began to realize just what a work of art that setting truly is.

You wouldn't happen to have any other materials squirreled away about Starbase 315, would you? Something new and unexpected that I can unleash on my players? That's be cool if you did.

    Thanks much, Lou.

    You're very welcome.

Unfortunately, I don't have any other material about the Starbase 315 setting. I have a few ideas mind you... like the truth about the Sreela, but nothing written down.

The only thing that might possibly be of use are some design notes I wrote for a SF class I took a couple of years back (when I was originally writing the SB 315 material). You can find them at:

    Hope this helps,
