    Another New Yorker

Hey, It's great to see another New Yorker on the Boards. I'm also on Long Island (Nassau) My Self.

Darth, If it's the store i think it is (On 33rd Street?) then I think the are a Distributor and thats why they had the book so early.

    Yay New York!

    Greetings and Salutations

It's always great to run into another Long Islander online.
I'm on the South shore nassau.
Do you play the Star Trek RPG?

It took me 2 years to find gamers after I moved here from San Francisco, now I see them all over the place.

    Pleasure to meet ya

I have been buying from Monkeyhead games in Seldon, they are a very cool store. there is the headquarters in bellmore, but i have a personal grudge against them.

    It's in VA

Got a call from my FLGS (Game Parlor in Chantilly) and they're holding a copy of the NG for me. I'll get it on the way to the airport.

"Distributor" is another term that could be associated with them. There are some more (rather unpleasant) terms that have been associated with them already. As far as local goes, well I'm in Queens (no wise cracks...this is a friendly board) so its a bit of a ride...but it beats paying shipping and handling from Amazon.com

    I feel Young

A bit off-topic, but it is good to see a healthy mix of ages for Trek fans, as well as gamers. I keep pretty busy with work (physician), administrator (at a hospital) and I'm getting married in November.

Time for gaming is, indeed, limited. You'd be surprised by how many of my peers played RPGs in their teenage years.

Back on topic, I hope to pickup the NG in town tomorrow.

::Pout: I may not get mine till Thursday or friday =(

I can't wait to get a game going though =)

When you htink about your average gamer would be in his mid to late 30's

Your first generation gamers started in the late 70's
2nd gen Mid eighties (that's me)
    3rd gen 1996

and the New D20 gamers as of recent.

I'm happy to see our hobby tkae off like this!

Hello also to Darth Sarcasric =)
Queens is a nice place, I just get lost everytime I go there
