Just because I'm an Engineer doesn't mean I Can Spell. That's what assistants are for.

Yea i hear ya, Trying to find game stores in this area is tough. I don't know of many in Queens. If you know of a comic shop in the area, try them. If they don't carry games, They can order them through Diamond Dist.

I have been 3 years looking for a decent Game store on LI, and I found one sorta to my tastes, still they are D20 heavy, and as a Indie Designer as well, it kinda bends me outa shape.
Online is good if you can be patient... www.stiggybaby.com has the cheapest prices i ever found on the net, and a awsome selection (you should see thier Star Trek section)

Karg, I wasn't trying to correct your spelling...I'm a PC Tech...why would my spelling be anymore correct than yours?

There used to be a comicbook/RPG shop in my area, but his assistant caused some trouble and the IRS came to visit. So much for the good of assistants.

My other favorite phrase is "Blows Monkeys and Goats" but since we are on a Star Trek Board...

Actually "Goat-blower" seems to be a favorite in my group. But I agree, we're on a friendly site here so I'll refrain from using such terminology.

Now I have Voltaire's Star trek Song "USS Make **** Up" going through my head....

"i was standing- on the bridge, when sulu came to me
his eyes were full of tears, he said 'captain, can't you see?'
'the ship is gonna blow to something i beseech.'
i grabbed the tribble and some chewing gum
and stopped the warp core breach "

Got Mine at Phoenix Games in Minneapolis

Just got it late this afternoon. I'm thrilled to see that some of the errata (i.e. weapons table, "Kill*" etc) noted on our Trek Board threead has been fixed/clarified in the NG. Anyway, more later, I just had a quick browse of the book while on the way to the airport. It is truly impressive by any RPG standard.

Even though I like the PG, despite the minor errata, the NG is a quantum leap above.

Mines on order, should get it by the weekend. Yay. SInce I'm running my first CODA Trek (aboard a civlian transport vessel in the Triangle about a year before The Motion Picture) session on Sunday, so this is really good timing.
