    The REAL 1st Enterprise

I'm planning on running a series in the ENT-era and came up with the following: Since the whole pre-mature departure of the Enterprise is due to the temporal cold war, one would think that there was an original time-line in which Capt. Archer mightnot have been part of the first crew.
In my campaign the players get to be the "real" first crew of the Enterprise, I'll probably keep a similar crew-make up as is used in the series (a vulcan 1st officer and an alien doctor).
What I need to work out though is some sort of original timeline which hasn't been meddled with by the temporal cold war.
A time-line in which the Suliban were not much of a threat to anyone. A time-line in which the first contact with the Klingons will lead to years of hostility, and the first contact with the Andorians occures in a more favourable light. (They do after all become one of the founding members of the UFP.)
Basically where, when (or even how) would these important moments take place?

I basically need a list of interesting and noteworthy things that need to or could happen before a UFP can be formed. Would anyone with a more in-depth knowledge of.... dare I say it.. continuity like to help?
No power in the 'verse can stop me.

"You know this roleplaying thing is awfully silly, let's just roll the dice." - overheard during a D&D 3E game.

The best bet is to look at a timeline for the relevant period which was written before ENT came on air. The ones in Icon would be ideal.

For instance, according to 'The Price of Freedom', the first encounter between humans and Andorians was in 2144 (you might need to change the year) when the USS Challenger accidentally entered Andorian space and warning shots were exchanged with an Andorian defence ship before more positive negotiations began. The first kingon encounter was apparently as late as 2223...

Chances are nobody noticed the Suliban much (which explains why we haven't heard of them in the other series) since they'd still be relatively primitive and confined to their homeworld without the technological support given them in the Time War.
