    New 25th C designs

I don't know if anybody remembers the Last Chances campaign idea I came up with months back (in the Narrator's Room), but I just put the finishing touches on a few ships for that game. It's set in the early-to-mid 25th Century and involves a bit of exploration on the other side of the Bajoran wormhole. I've got two ships, the U.S.S. Tiberius (a class prototype) the PC ship, and a Tecanti (a generic dominion ship). I hope you enjoy the stats, once I track down who's visual schematics I'm basing the Tiberius off of, I'll provide a reference so you can get an idea. Basically it looks like a larger, tougher Voyager.

    Tiberius-Class Specifications

    Origin: United Federation of Planets
Class and Type: Tiberius-Class Light Explorer
    Year Launched: 2453

    HULL DATA
    Structure: 35
    Size/Decks: 7/19 decks
    Length/Height/Beam: 460/73/200 meters
    Complement: 460

    OPERATIONAL DATA
    Transporters: 6 Standard, 6 Emergency
    Cargo Units: 70

    Sensor System: Class 3 (+3/D)
    Operations System: Class 3 (D)
    Life Support: Class 4 (E)

    PROPULSION DATA
Impulse System: Class 7 (.92c) (D) in Saucer and Stardrive Sections
Warp System: Class 8 (Warp 8/9.6/9.975) E in Stardrive, Class 7.6 (Warp 7/8/9.6) E in Saucer

    TACTICAL DATA
Phaser Arrays: Type X & Pulse Type I (Saucer x1, Stardrive Pulse Turret x2, Stardrive x1/D)
    Penetration: 6/5/5/0/0
Photon Torpedoes: Type VI (Stardrive x2/D)
    Penetration: 4/4/4/4/4
    Deflector Shields: Class 7 (E)
    Protection/Threshold: 17/5

    MISCELLANEOUS DATA
    Maneuver Modifiers: +3 C, -1 H, +3 T
Traits: Outdated (Command), Design Flaw (Missiles)

Misc. Class Features: Hololab, Shipwide Holo-Emitters, Holodecks, and Long-Range Transporters. It's separation system is a realized two-prong Vector Attack System.

Considering everything it's a fairly fragile prototype for its near-Trek Future time period. But this is about as crazy as I can get within the system. The non-prototypes would have different flaws like a Vulnerable Warp Drive system instead of weak missiles, etc. or less structure.

    Tecanti-Class Specifications
    PRODUCTION DATA
    Origin: New Dominion
Class and Type: Tecanti Class Heavy Cruiser
    Year Launched: 2445

    HULL DATA
    Structure: 35

    Complement: 650

    OPERATIONAL DATA
    Transporters: 9 Standard, 9 Emergency
    Cargo Units: 70
    Shuttlebay: 1 A
    Shuttlecraft: 7 Size worth
Tractor Beams: 1 FV, 1 AD
    Separation System: No
    Sensor System: Class 4 (+4/E)
    Operations System: Class 3 (D)
    Life Support: Class 3 (D)

    PROPULSION DATA
    Impulse System: Class 4 (.8c) (C)
    Warp System: Class 8 (Warp 6/9.5/9.98) (E) [8]

    TACTICAL DATA
Phased Polaron Arrays: Type IX (x5/D)
    Penetration: 6/6/6/0/0
    Photon Torpedoes: Type V (x4/D)
    Penetration: 6/6/6/6/6
    Deflector Shields: Class 3 (C)
    Protection/Threshold: 14/3

    MISCELLANEOUS DATA
    Maneuver Modifiers: +2 C, -1 H, +4 T
    Traits: None

Misc. Class features: Science Labs and Long-Range transporters.

This is a ship designed some twenty-two years after the Founders have gone off into the void and left the subject races of the Old Dominion to fend for themselves, and after four years of technological interchange between the New Dominion and the Federation. If you don't care for all of that, it's a new 'small' dominion cruiser that packs an incredibe punch with no serious flaws. Use it as you wish.

In light of the recent clarification, I spent some time and optimized the design of the Tiberius and Tecanti a little. The main difference is that I classified it as a Light Explorer, it gave me a warp drive discount, which is a major deal when you buy two warp drives.

This ship's another fleshing out of a fanmade image. It looks like a stark-white galaxy with a slimmed and aft displaced stardrive section, and warp nacelles on pylons extending directly to the side of the ship.

It's class features are ship-wide holo-emitters, variable warp nacelles, and holodecks.
