    Question Where's the beef?

I’m with PGoodman—toss up your MASSIVE list. I’d love to see these problems get properly addressed in some manner.

    Thanks.

Well, by massive I am referring to the errors not covered in the "official" thread of which there are many.

For example. How long does it take to recover fatigue? I'm looking at NG right now (but the error is also in PG.)

NG pg 96 right column first full paragraph: It refers to table 6.26 which shows how fast you gain fatigue based on level of activity, not rate of recovery (based on fatigue level as the text implies.)

Most of the "errata" is, in fact, simple rules clarifications. I think the actual "errata" is about a page, in comfortably-readable type.

However, if you want to talk about it some more, feel free to start a thread. I'll play along.

Matt, I apologies for responding to you post before I read the whole thing. Old farts like me frequently make mistakes and this was one of many. It was not my intention to offend, but I should have taken a time out before I vented in public. Again I apologize for not fully reading your post and for replying in an accusatory tone. I really am interested in helping fix the lack of comprehensive errata problem. I'm not here just to bitch and point out problems I am a fan and I really do want to help.

Guy asked a question. I gave an answer followed by a funny. This was a mistake. I will not do it again.

I started a new thread for the list here ( http://forum.trek-rpg.net/showthread.php?threadid=4610)

I apologies again for the tone of my previous post. My intention was not to offend.

Yes I find the rules as presented in the books frustrating, but that is only because I really like the CODA System and I *care* (maybe too much for a grown man.) Anyway I'm not going to bore you with stories of why I have lost my sense of humor. I'll try to get it back I promise.

It's going to take be a while to get the list together as I have only been able to read a few pages a day on average due to other commitments. Hopefully others will take up some of my slack.

Ohh, no need to stop making fun just on my account.

What got on my nerves about your joke was that, to me, it was all about making fun of people who want rules for every tiny detail. That's not half bad in itself, but I thought it rather inappropriate as a reply to a question about a rule that IMNSHO really should be in the book and wasn't about teny tiny details at all.

That and maybe that my brain was fried by the hottest german June day in recorded history with nearly 40°C.

As far as the MASSIVE amount of rules errors/omissions is concerned I agree with both MightyCthulhu and Don/PGoodman13:
The number of actual errors in the PG and NG isn't so high at all, but there are a lot of things that might have benefit from further clarifications and/or a little different editing.

Sometimes I think this game is an assembly kit with parts of the assembly instructions missing. You are given a lot of tools to build what you want, but sometimes you get frustrated by trying to find out on how exactly to use the tools.
