    Yet Another, Annoying basic SD question

    Thank you all for bearing with me and my ignorance,

    Sorry, but on page 137 of the SpaceDock manual it states:

    "The above rules only apply when the ship's shields are still up. If the shields are down, apply the full 100% effect of damage caused to any systems rolled on the Hit Location table."

    Does this mean that after shields are down, then ALL remaining damage is applied as specific system damage? Not to the superstructure in general?

    I apply it to both.

    As a side note it's kind of amusing when players get a good roll and do massive damge to an ememy ship only to take out it's recreation facilities.

    Okay, I get what you're saying, but in that case, what does the
    < 10% of damage to the systems > apply to and when does that apply?
