    Question

    Is it actually Kirk's Chair? I want it to be inspected by William Shatner, make sure those butt imprints (aka butt dents) are his.

    On a related note;

    I was quite intrigued to find out that Picards chair got stolen from the set of Nemesis, and that such a (seemigly) simple leather chair cost $12,000 to build (even including atrist concepts)...

    I was most surprised that 3 other cpatains chairs have previously been stolen and that nobody knows a damn thing about them.

    Strikes me as an iside job.

    This news article came from Star Trek magazine and so is probably a month old.

    IMHO, an inside job. I don't care if the perp is a die-hard fan of Trek, or simply a thief trying to fence a souvenir, he should be sent to the agony booth.
