I noticed that when you buy the Ablative Armor edge, your ship's structure does not increase by 5 points. I believe it should (followed by the Ablative Armor +5 note?)

I also noticed that when you buy extra transporters, it seems to add them one at a time for 1 point. If I understood the errata on this, I thought you get half the ship's size in transporters free and half the ship's size again for each point you spend.

The edge and flaw don't alter ship specs. you must do it yourself...for now! but i'm suppose to update this in a futur version.

I cannot trust errata not officially published by Decipher. For the moment, you can any time modify the stats of your vessels, when sheet is create, to reach your expectations.

    Theko:
I think the Errata in the Sticky Topic posted on this board will eventually turn out to be the exact items Decipher puts on its website... but perhaps Doug or Ross would care to comment?

I made the tour of subject. No mention of errata on ships but a lot of suggestion have been made but nothing official.

In all the cases, I saw nothing!

Just one small nitpick: I just tried to create a Nova-class Surveyor and the program came up with the maneuver modifiers for a frigate.

Personaly I tend to use the Scout/Aux classification from table 9.14 NG for most ships that don't fall into any other category (including surveyors), but of course YMMV.
When a classification is not listed, the software puts the general classification (frigate) However, I believes too that the surveyor should be in Scout/Aux.

I am going to modify the program today.

Actually, Theko, I think you might wanna leave the Surveyor type separate. I was working on a Nova myself, working off my copy of Spacedock, and the Nova's size was out of the support/auxiliary's Size range (which also means I had to deviate a bit from Spacedock, as the Nova's classified as a research/lab ship in there).

Oh, something else concerning weapons. The offense values of all the ship's weapons are added together to come up with the reliability rating for all the weapons. I think the program just adds the beam weapon OVs and missile weapon OVs separately.
