    Ship Dedication Quotes

If your ship has a dedication plaque, how about posting the quote here.

This is the quote I'm kicking around for my Daedalus-class U.S.S. Commonwealth:

"That the general, great, and essential principles of liberty and free government may be recognized and unalterably established..." - Constitution of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Article IX, 'Declaration of Rights'

Lancer: You've got the quote from "Ulysses" slightly out of order. The last line goes "To strive, to seek, to find, and not to yield." (Sorry for the nitpick, but it's one of my favorite poems.)

Thanks for the small correction, dude. I haven't read the poem in quite a while and was just working from memory.
And it is a great poem.

Actually, I'd probably go with something along the lines of:

"If I had a shilling for every time Bingo lost 'the only girl in the world,' I wouldn't be touching you for a fiver just now."
