    Nemesis BIG SPOILERS!!!!

    I mean it. Dont complain that this post is a spoiler and that I didn't warn you.

    OK, just been to the Nemesis site and picked up some informatoin about the Remans. Unlike Phantom, and as a Vampire mythology fan, I quite like the Nosferatu look... So here is the Reman informations given so far, for those of use that want to make up species templates, or somehow fit them into games;

    Reman History.
    Remus is the second planet of the Romulan Star Empire. The planet suffers from a stellar phenomenon that allows for only one half of the planet to be habitable due to extreme temperatures as it always faces the sun. The Remans, who have an altered physical appearance due to living in perpetual darkness on the opposite side, are considered an undesirable caste in the hierarchy of the Romulan Empire. The only distinction that has been bestowed upon them is that they are formidable warriors and were quite effective during the Dominion War.

    Very little is known about the socio-political and economic impact Remus contributes to the Empire. What is known through Federation Intelligence is that Remus is a key Dilithium mining source and it is where the majority of Romulan heavy weapons construction is done.

    Reman Solidarity and Representation.
    Rumors have been circulating throughout the quadrant that the Remans are organizing for a stand to be recognized by their Romulan brethren. There are whispers that a human male of unknown origin is leading this campaign. These reports cannot be verified due to the oppressive nature of the Romulan Empire on all matters dealing with Remus.

    Reman Weaponry.
    Facts surrounding a ship of Reman origin and design are at this point nothing more than rumor. The only constant circulating throughout the quadrant is that the ship is of immense proportions and bears an aggressive posture. The most disconcerting rumour surrounding the craft is that its weaponry is double that of a standard warbird. No information exists on propulsion systems or unique weaponry.

    Y'know, it occurs to me that they could do an Enterprise/Nemesis crossover, having Archer's Enterprise make first contact with a Romulan vessel crewed by Remans. Kinda like the Jem'Hadar serving the Founders in the Dominion.

    I had the same thought last year, when the spoilers started coming out. It would seem a natural progression to tie the movie in the series in some way, so as to give some cross-publicity for the series.

    Soooo.... the guy from the future who orders the Sulibans would be... a Reman ?
    Now this would be fun.

    Further on... if Archer et al were to alter the past and make some events of Nemesis be wiped out (or the contrary)....
    Or you could have Picard sent into the past meeting Archer while fighting some Remans in the aftermath of Nemesis...

    Ouch... I'm gonna sleep now.

    Which, given the recent rumour about Stewart and Goldberg doing a guest spot on Enterprise, may not be quite as out there as it sounds.
